We bring together people of like minds who believe that true transformation of the local communities will only come through learning about Allah and following the Prophet (SAW).
Instead of kids having to travel far for knowledge which deprives a lot of them of said education, we create community centres so that they can learn where they live.
We create a sustainable source of funding for this effort. A Network of believers cooperating in a seamless reoccurring manner that will make this a Sadaqtul Jariya for all of us.
So far we have 73 Centres with over 130 Trained Imams attending to 10,000 Students across 10 States in Nigeria. Each and every centre has one main objective: to transform the lives of people in those communities through the authentic teaching of the Quran and living a life following the examples of the Prophet (SAW).
Our Goal for each community is to provide a Majid Centre (for Teaching), provide a resident Islamic teacher and take care of their upkeep as the key to sustainability is retaining the Imams, provide a source of clean water for the community (usually via boreholes).
Joining the work of taking Islamic Education to the most remote of areas where, ordinarily, people cannot afford school, has been made easy. You, or your Organization, may choose to Adopt one of our numerous Centres. Alternatively, you may sponsor an Imam for as low as 35,000 Naira ($50) or you may choose to supply Books to the Centre or buy such. One may also opt to sponsor the training of additional Imams which will expand our reach and In shaa Allah the reward for every student taught by that Imam will be on the scale of the donor.
Mariri is an example of gratitude that most should strive for. They were on a quest for guidance and when a community wants help, it makes the job more fulfilling and easier for us. Their manners were exemplary and immense gratitude was continuously shown as they consistently offered the builders food daily and repeatedly thanked us.
Heart of many communities, yet the Mosque there was a little derelict Mosque that only hosted 30 at a time. Yet it was the only Mosque in the “main town.” Subhanallah, the communities around are so many even after the expansion there are a lot of people still praying outside. The new Masjid has a big impact on the surrounding communities.
When we arrived in Unguwan Jaki, one thing was very noticeable, the churches at every corner. They seemed to be stranded and the nearest Jumu’ah Mosque was almost 10km away, in Katsina. Alhaji Sambo hosted the builders, treated them like royalty making them welcome and honouring them. May Allah guide, bless and increase him in his hospitality.
